Old Boats

One of the things I loved most about Venice and Murano was the mix of old and new boats. Seeing the contrast between shiny gondolas and old, deteriorating boats was really neat. These are two of my favorite "old" boats, both seen on Murano.

Murano

Since we stayed up most of the night, and rose with the sun, we got to Murano before the city awoke. It was unfortunate that we didn't get to see many things until we were preparing to leave, but experiencing it with no crowds was really nice.

Cinque Terre!

Cinque Terre was a great experience. I didn't know what to expect and didn't know how much hiking and scenery we were going to see, but it was so beautiful.

These are just two of my many favorite artworks I have seen since I have been here. Sorry one is just a drawing, but it is of the real David and it just means that much more. And please do not hate on the Mannerist style they knew what they were doing I just feel they were sick of following the rules.

Jason always seems to see something no one else does. No matter if it is the sky or a pillar, or even ice cream he knows what to look for. Not that I am trying to creep on you Jason, but here are some quick pictures of you in deep thought.

Venice was the best Weekend of my life. Everything went smooth and I made some good friends. We ate some good seafood like lobster pasta! Tresha was a good model with her glasses using them as a reflection. Also Venice at night was something you should see before you die because it was so beautiful. I could not have asked for anything more this Weekend.
