Sunrise
Becky and I were troopers and waited up all night for sunrise. We were on the bridge just south of Ponte Vecchio waiting for sunrise at 5.35am when we realized that we were at the bottom of Piazza Michelangelo, and what a better place to watch the sun come up then from the highest point in the city. Somehow my legs carried me up the stairs in a matter of a couple minutes, just in time to see the firey orange ball break the horizon. This is one of about a million images I took but I really enjoy how the sun is illuminating half of the Duomo and the rest of the city. Enjoy.
